Winter Ski Season
Please – no cotton!
Hats, thin gloves, light jackets, fleece, poly or wool base layers will all be needed. Big and bulky downhill/alpine gloves are a problem. Please do not send your child with bulky gloves.
Sunglasses as well as clear or amber glasses are all helpful, especially if you are racing.
A skier needs skate skis, skate poles, classic skis, classic poles, classic boots and skate boots. For a nominal fee, ski equipment is provided for the season. If a skier wants to use their own gear, please select only NNN or NIS binding compatible gear.
Roller Ski Season
We recommend that each skier wear a helmet, biking gloves, and knee pads. For young kids, wearing long sweatpants can help prevent road rash in the event of a fall.
A skier needs classic roller skis, classic roller ski poles, skate roller skis, skate roller ski poles, classic boots, and skate boots. For a nominal fee, ski equipment is provided for the season.
