We have moved the PB-100 snowcat north to the Beaver Creek Trailhead, and it will provide excellent grooming for our trails in that area (Stonewater to Swamp Creek). We have covered the trailhead road with fresh snow, but we still have a 40' melt out area in the woods. Should be good skiing, skate and classic, tomorrow morning. Softer as the day goes on. Watch for a new loop to ski as you get close to Stonewater (prior to crossing the bridge). We will stop grooming the Stonewater Gym Loop as the PB-100 snowcat can't cross the bridge due to lack of snow width.
We plan to groom that section daily so long as the snow holds on.
Any interest in an end of season Groomer's Appreciation celebration? Come say thanks to the groomer's who have made the skiing so incredible this winter. Let me know if you are interested. I'm thinking after hours at the Squirrel Tree, perhaps mid-next week.
Thanks,
