Good morning, skiers! Another great day of skiing out there with the blue sky breaking out this morning! It is currently 14 degrees at 8 AM. The overnight low was 13, and yesterday's high was 26. No new snow. Fresh skate grooming on most trails today and classic was left from yesterday.
Overall the skiing is amazing right now, skate or classic. Great coverage everywhere.
Today's photo is from the new route on Grizzly Mountain, and it offers a platform lookout over Lake Wenatchee. This is a one way ski direction trail - ski it clockwise. It is significantly a higher/longer climb now that we have groomed both sides of the mountain. Great views and a challenging route!
We have snowshoe trails open!
Trail passes are required and can be purchased online at www.skiplain.com or at Plain Hardware. Snowshoe and ski rentals are avaliable at Plain Hardware. Gloves, mittens, hats, waxes, poles, boots and skis are all avaliable at Plain Hardware.
