Groomer’s Report - Tuesday, 12/19/23

Good morning skiers! If fresh snow was on your Christmas wish list, it's here this morning! We have 31 degrees, light snow, with about 1" of new as of 8 AM. We have fresh skate grooming with the Ginzu today on all trails except Mill Hill and Grizzly Mountain. While things are going to look all white and snow covered, BE CAREFUL at all road and snowmobile crossings. Some dirt has been exposed there. Hot Tub Hill is still in rough shape so consider walking this short section. Overall, we have some great coverage and great skiing. Still the best conditions are north of Mt. Springs Lodge, so consider using the Beaver Creek Trailhead or the Clear Creek Trailhead at Thousand Trails.

A shout out to the PVNT junior team and coaches who raced at Mt. Bachelor this past weekend at the season's first Junior Nordic Qualifier. Lot's of podium finishes. Results can be found by going to www.webscorer.com and search on MBSEF Nordic Cup. Men's, Women's and Youth results are all listed as separate races. Trail pass sales help support the funding of this amazing community youth program.

Trail passes are required and can be purchased at Plain Hardware www.plainhardware.com or online at www.skiplain.com.

XC ski and snowshoe rentals are available at Plain Hardware, along with a full line of XC skis, boots, poles, and other XC accessories for sale.

Today's grooming by Jason.

Have fun out there!
