Groomer's Report - Thursday, 2/1/24

Good morning skiers! We have fresh classic and skate grooming on the Meadow Loop trails, Sprint Loop, and the BCT between the Meadow Loop Trailhead and Mt. Springs Lodge, all completed with the PB100 snowcat. Good conditions and coverage. Mill Hill and Rowdy Coyote were ginzu groomed as well. Up north, we have ginzu groomed skate and classic Hot Tub Hill, Hitching Post, and the BCT all the way from Mt. Springs to Clear Creek Lodge. This includes Swamp Creek Loop, Grizzly was not groomed. Both skating and classic have been good in spite of the at times drippy weather. Low last night was 32 and the high was 36. It was 34 as of 10 AM.

We are hosting both classic and skate skiing clinics this weekend! Here's more info:

Take a Ski Clinic

These clinics are for all abilities and experience levels who are looking to take their skiing to the next level. We'll offer a lesson for people who have never practiced the techniques before and offer instruction to skiers with more experience and skills who are ready to learn more. Our 5 hour clinics include a ski-in lunch at Mountain Springs Lodge.

Trail passes are required and can be purchased at Plain Hardware or online at www.skiplain.com. Please have your trail pass showing when on the trails, or keep your phone handy to show your e-ticket.

Get out there and ski today! It's been quite good this week.

Rob D and Caleb were today's groomers.

Have fun,

Rob Whitten
