Good morning skiers! We have some great skiing out there today with the cooler temperatures. It is currently 27 degrees at 10 AM. The overnight low was 20 and yesterday's high was 40! No new snow overnight, but it is currently snowing lightly, with 1 - 2 inches forecast for today, and 2 - 4 inches tonight.
Be aware that the Verizon cell tower that serves Plain has been out of service for two days. If you enable Wi-Fi calling on your cell phone you will have service at Plain Hardware, but not out on the trails.
Trails have fresh skate grooming today on most trails, and classic was left from yesterday. You can find a detailed grooming report here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/12qPI6gVls_IVXpmBIVq0oKy1_Fk2NDnM6K-DNOzD_iw/edit
Trail passes are required and can be purchased online at www.skiplain.com or in person at Plain Hardware.
The skating is much faster today! Enjoy the trails!
