Groomer’s Report - Sunday, 3/5/23

Good morning skiers! It's a beautiful morning out there with 2" - 3" of fresh snow. All trails have fresh skate and classic this morning. Best skating will be on the Meadow Loops, Sprint Loop, and the BCT between Plain and Mt. Springs Lodge (groomed with the PB-100 snowcat). Should be great classic on all the trails today. Today's picture is just north of Hot Tub Hill. Weather is currently partly sunny, a few flurries, and 32 degrees at 9 AM. The low was 27 and yesterday's high was 35.

TODAY (3/5/23) we have a wedding at Mt. Springs Lodge and the BCT will have a temporary DETOUR from 2:45 PM - 3:45 PM. Use the Mill Hill Trail called Low Road (access from Meadow Loop Trail), and cut through to the top of Mill Hill on the short connector. Both skate and classic grooming in this section.

Today is the last chance to ski the Tour de Plain, a 10K or 20 K freestyle (skate) race that is self timed via a Webscorer phone app. More info here: https://www.skiplain.com/tourdeplain

While we are enjoying amazing mid-winter skiing conditions right now, the end of the season can't be too far away! Ski every day you can!!! We are at the 4 month mark of groomed trails this winter! Seems crazy but here we are!

Rob D, Gus, and Rob W, today's groomers.

Have fun out there!
