Good morning skiers! We are still skiing this early in the season! What a treat! The weather has been cooperating to a point. While we haven't gotten new snow, the snow we do have is holding well. Today we have breaking fog, 13 degrees at 8 am, and an overnight low of 9. No new snow.
The trails in Plain accessed from the Meadow Loop Trailhead are groomed this morning for skate. Classic tracks are left from yesterday and are not great but are skiable. Some grass exposed in places. Lack of new snow and snow depth are keeping us from re-setting classic tracks.
Trails between Stonewater Ranch and Swamp Creek are open. Skate is good and classic just ok.
The Beaver Creek Trailhead parking has a NEW LOCATION. It has been moved one driveway north. Watch for the signs to know where to park.
Snowshoe trails are closed at this time due to low snow.
Trail passes are required and can be purchased online at www.SkiPlain.com or in person at Plain Hardware.
Have fun out there and enjoy the early season skiing!
Rob W and Pierre- today's groomers.
