Groomer’s Report - Saturday 1/7/23

Good morning skiers! We have delayed grooming this morning due to the current snowfall accumulating on the trails. The groomers headed out at 7:15 AM and should be off the trails by 9 AM. We plan to do a second grooming of the Meadow Loops and Sprint Loop with the PB-100 snowcat around 11 AM in the hopes of providing the best grooming possible for both skate and classic. Not all trails will get a second grooming. So far this morning we have 1" of new, 30 degrees at 8 AM, and it is snowing at a moderate rate (1/2" per hour). The low was 29 and yesterday's high was 34.

Snowshoe trails are open and lots are plowed.

Trail passes are required and can be purchased online at www.skiplain.com or in person at Plain Hardware. XC and snowshoe rentals are avaliable at Plain Hardware www.plainhardware.com as well as a full selection of XC gear for sale. Try out the new Madshus skin skis (classic). We have a full fleet of demo skis for you to check out to help you make your selection. Faster and quieter than old school fishscale skis, with reliable grip in all conditions.

Have fun out there!

Rob D, Jason, and Gus, today's groomers.
