Good morning skiers! That was some great skating yesterday! I did use Strava and set a PR for 2023/2024 on Swamp Creek Loop. Other fun Strava segments are the Sprint Loop or the Meadow Loop. Strava can break down results based on age groupings and sex, so check it out! I'll set up more Strava segments in the future. It should be more of the same today! We currently have 29 degrees at 8 AM, a low of 29, and yesterday's high was 32! No new snow (but there is some in the forecast!). Today's picture is near Clear Creek Lodge, just south of Thousand Trails.
Watch for a few dirty spots, especially be careful at the road crossings and at the bottom of the S curves where the BCT crosses a very muddy snowmobile trail. Hot Tub Hill is still thin and dirty. You should walk this short section. All in all a ton of great snow with full coverage.
