Groomer's Report - Monday, 1/29/24

Good morning skiers! It's been warm and a bit drippy but the skiing has held up well. We have fresh grooming this morning in some limited areas as we are trying to avoid trail damage where the coverage is thin and the snow is not freezing overnight (forest areas).

Fresh skate and classic for Meadow Loop, Sprint Loop, and the BCT between Plain and Mt. Springs Lodge with the PB100 snowcat. We did not groom last night between Mt. Springs and Stonewater Loop due to the warm and wet conditions. Classic should be good through this section. Fresh skate groomed with the Ginzu from Stonewater Loop north to Swamp Creek Loop, and on to Clear Creek Lodge. Grizzly Mountain not groomed last night. We will be warm this week but colder temps will be here come Saturday! All grooming was completed by 9:30 PM last night in order for the snow to firm up the best it could overnight.

Trail passes are required and can be purchased at Plain Hardware or online at www.skiplain.com. Please have your pass showing while you are on the trails or have your phone handy is you have an e-ticket.

Grooming by myself and Jason.

Have fun out there!
