Groomer’s Report - Friday, 2/23/24

Good morning skiers! It's a sunny morning after a cold night. The low was 25 and yesterdays high was 39. It was 28 degrees at 9 AM. No new snow. Last night trails were groomed for fresh skate, with new classic being set on Meadow Loop and the BCT between the Meadow Loop Parking Lot and Mt. Springs Lodge. Classic north of Mt. Springs was left from yesterday and is holding up well in most areas. Under heavily treed areas it can range from none to light on the quality of the track. Not groomed last night were the Mill Hill Complex and Grizzly Mountain. Trails are holding up well with good coverage. Classic is my choice for today as the tracks will hold up well all day. Skate will be good this morning, and getting softer as the day goes on.

Trail passes are required and can be purchased at Plain Hardware or online at www.SkiPlain.com. Please have your passes showing when on the trail system or keep your phone handy to show your e-ticket if you purchased online.

The Meadow Loop parking lot in Plain is getting a bit muddy in the warmer afternoons. Feel free to park at Plain Hardware and walk across the street to the Plain Hardware Trailhead.

Have fun out there!

Gus and Caleb were last nights groomers.
