Groomer's Report... 12/28/2024

Another great day to get out and ski, especially since we got roughly an inch of fresh snow last night and temps hovered right around freezing.  Grooming happened this morning and it turned out quite well.  The SnoCat was used on Meadow Loop, Sprint Loop and the BCT to Mountain Springs setting fresh skate and classic.  A Ginzu was used on the Mill Hilll complex including Chainsaw Ridge and Cougar Run setting mainly skate.

A Ginzu also groomed out all of the Northern trails setting skate and classic everywhere possible except Grizzly Mtn which just got skate.

Overall, the trails are still looking pretty good.  Be aware of a few thin and icy spots under some of the trees.  Both skate and classic should ski well, so get out there before it warms up too much.

All 3 trailheads are open and just a reminder that our northern most trailhead is at Osprey Lodge Trailhead at the 1000 Trails main entrance. (No longer the Clear Creek Trailhead). As always, use caution in the parking lots as there could be ice (Micro Spikes recommended) and can be quite slushy as temps warm up (4wd recommended).

Disclaimer: Our Nordic Pulse map is a work in progress as we are still coordinating the GPS tracking to align with the actual trails, but all trails are currently open.
