No fresh snow last night (we got spoiled this weekend) and an overnight low that didn't get below freezing, so conditions could be a little soft and in places, but should still be enjoyable.
This is the last day of stage 1 of Tour de Plain being starting at the Beaver Creek Trailhead. Click the link for more info. and get your time before dusk today.
Last night, a Ginzu was used to freshen up the skate lane on everything north of the Beaver Creek Trailhead as the classic is still looking great in most places.
This morning, the SnoCat made it's way back down valley and groomed fresh skate on the BCT from the Beaver Creek Trailhead down to Meadow Loop Trailhead minus the hitching post area which got fresh skate with a ginzu, along with Rowdy Coyote, Chainsaw Ridge and Cougar run. The SnoCat also laid fresh skate and classic on Meadow Loop and Sprint Loop.
All 3 trailheads are open and be aware that the snow could be slushy as the day goes on.
Disclaimer: Our Nordic Pulse map is a work in progress as we are still coordinating the GPS tracking to align with the actual trails (we're getting closer), but all trails are currently open.
