No new snow last night and temperatures last night didn't get quite as cold as they had forecasted, but they are currently sitting just above freezing.
Our whole trail system got groomed with new classic and skate being set by the SnoCat on Meadow Loop, the Beaver Creek Trail to Mountain Springs Lodge and on Sprint Loop. It all turned out pretty well and should ski nicely. The Mill Hill Complex all got fresh skate with a Ginzu, be aware of some thin/bare areas on Cougar Run that can still be gotten around. Mill Hill got a fresh classic track up to the turnaround up top. An attempt was made to set classic from Mountain Springs up to and including Stonewater Loop with mixed results.
North of Stonewater Loop, all the trails got the skate lane freshened up also with a Ginzu. Be aware of thin spots under the trees, but overall the forecast is calling for some sun today, so it should make for some good skiing.
All 3 trailheads are open and be aware that things could get a little slushy as the day goes on.
