Groomer’s Report 2/9/20

Groomer’s Report – Sunday, 2/9/20
Good morning skiers! The temperature got down to 21° last night, so the trails are firm and fast! It’s looking to be a sunny beautiful day out on the trails, and the sun should stay out all day with temps slowly rising throughout the day. The trails were groomed for classic in the southern section of the trails in the evening yesterday, so they will be frozen in. All other open trails were groomed for skate this morning. Groomers choice for skiing today would be both skate and classic on the BCT and Swamp Creek. There is a race again today in the Sprint Loop, so that portion of the trails will be closed off until the end of today. Parking in downtown Plain may be full from 11 am until around 2 pm. Parking is still available at the Beaver Creek Trail head as the Clear Creak Trail head. As always, rentals and trail passes are available at Plain Hardware. Today’s groomers were Jason, Caleb, and Ryan.
