Our Story

Plain Valley Ski Trails (PVST), established in 2011, is a thriving cross country ski community. With the collaboration of generous landowners, PVST works to create and sustain a high-quality ski trail system that serves the community and funds barrier-free ski educational programs that motivate individual and team achievement.

PVST introduced the Plain Valley Nordic Team (PVNT) in 2014 to make skiing accessible for local youth. PVST seeks to maintain exceptional cross-country ski trails while providing barrier-free ski education, fostering health and achievement among youth. The net proceeds from PVST’s season and day passes fund our youth ski education program, PVNT. The Plain Valley Nordic Team (PVNT) provides an engaging ski education program to over 100 children annually. We teach both classic and skate technique. We train year round, running, roller-skiing, weight training and more!
