Groomer’s Report – Sunday, 2/23/2020 – Good morning, skiers! We are being teased with snow flurries this morning, it’s currently 30 degrees (also the overnight low), and yesterday’s high was 48. We are currently grooming this morning for skate, and we will try to set some fresh classic where conditions allow. The skating has remained very good, and the classic has been a mixed bag. Watch for icy sections near the forest areas. Hot Tub Hill and the Hitching Post area (both at Mt. Springs Lodge) have short melt out sections that you will need to remove your skis and walk to get through, otherwise, most trails are groomed. Closed trails are Chainsaw Ridge, Cougar Run, and Ditch Loop. Clear Creek Loop and Swamp Creek Loop have a narrow trail section due to surface water melt out, but these are still skiing very well! Don’t skip Swamp Creek! For a longer ski and better snow, ski the trails north of Mt. Springs Lodge (between Clear Creek Lodge Mt. Springs Lodge).

Snowshoe trails are closed due to lack of coverage and mud.
