Explore Leavenworth’s Plain Valley!

Plain Valley Ski Trails is a cross country ski trail system that starts in downtown Plain, Washington. We offer over 24 km of groomed skate and classic cross country ski trails. Park at Plain Hardware and walk across the road to access the trail system. The skiing is out in the open, sunny and has great views of the Plain Valley.

Grooming Report

Saturday, 3/23/19 - Good morning, skiers! Trails are freshly groomed for skate and classic! Should be some good skiing while it is cool this morning. Road crossings and a short section at Mt. Springs Lodge are melted out. 99% of the trails have great coverage. Sprint Loop was also freshly groomed last night for skate. Sun is shining this morning but lightly filtered at 9:39 am. Temp is 41. The overnight low was 34, and yesterday’s high was 58. Have fun out there! Can’t be too many days left this year.
